What does it do?
IPL Painless permenant hair reduction is a noninvasive method of reducing the amount of hair on the treated area. Each visit further weakens and inhibits the growth of new hair. Advantages of laser hair removal over waxing, shaving, plucking and electrolysis include a longer window of hair regrowth, less pain and fewer visits than electrolysis, less chance of an allergic reaction, less chance of ingrown hairs, no waxing is required before treatment, hair does not need to be grown out before treatment and no anesthesia is required.

How does it work?
Intensed Pulsed Light (IPL) destroys the root of the hair, removing it's ability to regrow. Since you can only destroy hair in it's growth phase, multiple treatments are often needed.

What is the procedure like?
Your Medically trained professional will deliver short pulses using a laser. Each flash of laser light disables a large number of hair follicles in less than a second. Since thousands of hairs can be zapped in a single treatment session, large areas like the back, shoulders, arms and legs can be effectively treated in a short period of time. Often clients will come over their lunch break and return to work afterwards.

Is it safe/what are the side effects?
With a skilled medical professional the procedure is very safe. The most common side affect is a short term reddening of the skin, similar to a sunburn. Avoiding the sun directly after and treatments during the summer months is best.

Does it hurt?
The "old school" large lasers can be a bit painful. New IPL laser technology is much more comfortable. Most describe the sensation similar to the snap of a rubber band.

How are the results?
While it varies from person to person, people are very pleased with the results. Clients see most of their hair gone after a series of 6 treatments.

How much is it?
Price varies by zone. A small area like the lip is 1 zone, while larger areas like the legs can be up to 8 zones. We offer substantial package discounts from the retail $125/zone price down to as low as $75/zone.
